The US finally joined World War One because of unrestricted submarine warfare, the Zimmerman Telegraph etc.
1700 Spanish Connon
Panama started a revolution and the US created a canal in Panama Linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
Frank Miller Statue
I think the government was correct by granting the Mission Inn this honor because there are so many artifacts that people can learn from.
Taft Chair
So many immigrants came to America during the turn of the century in hope for a better life, a job, family etc.
Raincross Bell
The bell of the Raincross is inspired by the mass bell of Father Junipero Serra, the founder of the California missions. The double-cross is said to be an ancient Native American symbol for the dragonfly which emerged each year after the summer rains.
Teddy Roosevelt
I thinks Teddy Roosevelt's biggest accomplishment was preserving our national land marks because it reminds people of the roots of America.
Chinese Pavillion
Usually Chinese immigrants passed through Angel Island, this process could take up to days. The exclusion act was implemented because we were getting over populated and the economy was weak. People were also paranoid that immigrants were spies
International Rotunda
I was kind of upset that we couldn't see this in person because it was closed.

BRICKS..
I loved the candles on the wall
and more bricks!!
Before movies use to be silent films. Now our movies are in color and there are sounds. We watch more movies than plays. Movie theaters are not as details as before. People would get all dress up to go to the movies and now we go in sweats.
During lunch a group of my friends and I went to the Tamale Factory. The food was extremely good..I can't wait to go back!!!!!!!!!!
