School Day #71
Black Student Alliance Student of the Month: Flojona Sanon
The Black Student Alliance wants to shine a light on members who are demonstrating our club’s core values (Excellence, Integrity, Unity, Leadership, Respect).
Flojona demonstrated excellence by staying on task and remaining focused on our goal these past weeks. She took it upon herself to do what was necessary and help as best she could which made us proud as a collective.
If any other clubs or activities wish to highlight excellence of their members, please contact Gina Spencer.
Name Our Mascot
We have our mascot but what's their name!?!? Would you like to be a part of Attleboro's history and name them? For $1 you can submit your suggestion in the cafeteria (table near Bray) during all lunches this week only. You can make as many suggestions as you want but each one is $1. All proceeds will go to SkillsUSA to assist CTE students with their competition fees.
Let's Have Some Fun!
Attentions AHS students and staff. Friday is National Ugly Sweater Day and we are celebrating! Wear your favorite ugly sweater and you may win a prize. Prizes will be given out during all lunches.

Everyone who auditions will get a part in this fantastically fun, family-friendly production. For further questions, see Mr. Hyman, Mrs. McCarthy, or Mr. Tarsi.
The Drama Club will be holding its monthly informational meeting on Tuesday, December 13, at 2pm in the Bray Auditorium. Topics for this month's meeting include musical auditions and the state drama festival. The meeting should last about 30 minutes.
Attention Seniors!
Senior Class dues of $45.00 will be collected in the SAO during all lunches. Only cash and money orders are accepted, no check or credit cards. In order to attend Senior functions, dues must be paid.
Athletics
Attention Future Baseball Stars
Students interested in playing Baseball during the upcoming Spring season should attend a meeting today at 2:00 in Room A410.
Operation Santa Paws
Did you know that approximately 6.3 million companion animals enter shelters nationwide every year, while only 4.1 million are adopted? While we might not be able to adopt all the rest by ourselves, we can help them by supporting our local shelters.
Please bring in a donation of food, toys, or cleaning supplies to support The Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter. There will be boxes in specific classrooms in each house and on the balcony with Ms. Spencer. Look for the Operation Santa Paws flyers that are going up! If you have questions, see Mrs. Thibodeau in A416.
