Eye of the Dragon
John Dewey Academy of Learning, December 14 - 18, 2020
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the John Dewey Academy of Learning is to provide students
with a rigorous project-based curriculum and a safe, caring community in which to learn.
By developing the whole person - academically, professionally and personally -
JDAL will assist students in reaching their full potential.
Request for Parent/Caregiver Feedback
JDAL Staff are continuing to work on providing our students with the resources they need. We have asked our students what they think they need, but we also want to hear from our parents and caregivers. I know you recently completed a district climate survey, but we would really appreciate hearing from you if you have a moment.
The padlet link is one simple question asking what type of resources you would like to see at JDAL. This may include suggestions like technology, learning experiences, or even staffing.
The second link relates to a new program we are implementing called The Leader in Me. The goal of this program is to create a school culture where students recognize their strength and their ability to be leaders. We will be conducting this survey again in the spring to measure our growth with this program.
Student Survey - goal: 100 students
Parent/Caregiver Survey - goal: 50 parents/caregivers
Thank you so much for your feedback!
Thanks for choosing to be a dragon!
With gratitude, Jen + the JDAL Staff
