Can you believe August is already here?
With the start of the school year quickly approaching, I am honored and humbled to serve LRA as the new Elementary/Middle School Principal this year. I understand this year has been met with unprecedented challenges. While it hasn't been easy, I continue to be amazed by our teacher's commitment and resolve with offering a Christ-centered education. I suspect this coming year, even with all the challenges, will be no different.
In Christ,
Melanie Raposo
From the High School Principal's Desk
Hello Everyone!
I am so excited about my new role as High School Principal! While the decision to leave the classroom as a teacher was difficult, I look forward to serving our teachers, students, and families in this new role. There are a lot of changes this year because of the COVID environment; BUT, working together, we will get through these difficult times. I’m so excited to see our students again, whether in-person or on-line! We will continue to plan for as many student activities as possible, including Spirit/“Fun” weeks, Outreach, Bobcat Buddies, and cross-curricular field trips with safety guidelines in place. Again, the year will look different but, with Christ, it’s going to be a great year!
