NAHS Parking Permit Information
New Albany High School - 2023-2024 School Year
Dear Students & Parents,
The student parking permit process for the 2023-2024 school year will be the same as last year with a senior parking lottery system, and an online application process for sophomore and junior students. Students will be required to submit the permit fee and a photo of a current valid driver's license with the online application.
Important - In order to apply for a parking permit, all outstanding school fees must be paid. The online application will require students to verify their PowerSchool ID and the verification list will not include any student that has a school fee balance. Please make sure that all outstanding fees are paid prior to 12 Noon on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Families can pay outstanding fees by logging in to PaySchools Central and clicking on “fee payment”.
Please remember that obtaining a valid parking permit makes the student ineligible for bus transportation.

Senior Parking Permit Application
The Senior lottery system application will open on Friday, July 28th at 9am and will close on Thursday, August 3rd. Please check the student's NAPLS email account on July 28 for the link to the online application and detailed instructions on completing the online form. The email WILL ONLY be sent to the NAPLS email account. The application will only allow one entry per NAPLS student. Seniors may apply anytime during the application period since it is by random lottery that parking spaces are assigned.
Seniors will receive an email notification with their assigned parking permit location on or before Monday, August 7, 2023.
Permit tags will be available for student pick up on High School Kick-Off Day, August 8, 2023.
General Parking Permit Application
The General Parking application for sophomore and junior students will open on Friday, August 4th, and only be posted on the main page of the high school website. The application will only accept one entry per NAPLS student. Handwritten forms will not be accepted.
After submitting an application students will receive a pop-up as well and an automatic confirmation email. This email is verification of a purchased parking permit and student’s should plan to pick up their permit tag at the High School Kick-Off event on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.
