Senior Updates

COVID-19 Updates for Seniors and Parents

We have secured two possible graduation dates and locations. We are seeking input from our families during this unprecedented time that requires our graduation to be pushed back in the summer.

Option 1: JQH Arena was chosen by both students and parents/guardians of the Class of 2020 during a vote last year. JQH Arena is available August 8 at 6:00 p.m. No ticket will be required.

Option 2: James River Church has made their facility available to Ozark High School as an earlier option on July 24 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets will be required for entry. Each graduate will receive tickets for 7 guests.

Please indicate your preference through this survey.

We are doing this very differently this year, and Seniors get to design their own slide. All of the details are in the Canvas module. This is optional, but we hope that all Seniors participate. The slides will be used in our Senior Awards video and will air on May 9.

Seniors, if you haven't turned in your Senior Slide, please do so as soon as possible!

Declaration Day is Friday, May 1 and we want to highlight what our Seniors plan to do after graduating high school. We will have a social media post on Facebook and Instagram where Seniors (or their family) can share a photo of them with their college, military or career plans and we will share it to our story.
If you are a Senior who has had perfect attendance all four years of high school, please let us know by filling out this form.

Students with perfect attendance will be recognized in the Senior Awards video.

If you have attended Ozark from kindergarten through your Senior year, we want to know! Please fill out this form.

We will recognize these students during Senior Week.

We have a new date for Prom!

Tuesday, July 21, 8 - 11 p.m. at The Old Glass Place

Tickets can still be purchased here.

Hope to see you there!

Be sure to check out the Class of 2020 Seniors Canvas course for tasks related to graduation. Some are fun, some are necessary, and all are important.

Early grads are unable to be added to the Canvas Class so we have a shared Google drive for you titled “Class of 2020 Seniors.” This shared drive contains the same information that is on the Canvas page. One note - you will need to be logged in with your school email to access it.

Senior Tasks - These are required. There are a couple of surveys that will help us help you. Without these surveys, we won’t know where to send your transcript, whether you plan on using A+, and whether or not you qualify for Diploma & (and get to wear a special cord at graduation).

Scholarship Information - Scholarships are still in Naviance, and that’s where you’ll find the applications and deadlines. But in Canvas, there is some information about what to do if you qualify for the A+ or Bright Flight Scholarships.

Parents: The Canvas page allows students to go to one place to submit the above information. It will not replace other forms of communication.
