Scheduled IRS DRT Outage
The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will be down on Sunday, Oct. 6 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET for system upgrades. Users will be able to access fafsa.gov and the myStudentAid mobile app during the outage, according to FSA, but any tax information required will have to be entered manually. NCAN strongly encourages use of the IRS DRT to complete the FAFSA, when possible, to reduce the likelihood of being selected for verification.

T.O.C. ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Every year the Athlete of the Year campaign, powered by Huntsville Hospital Sports Center,
TOC Sports and D1 Sports, looks for high school senior student athletes who excel
on the field, in the classroom and in our community.
From August to April, a panel of judges selects one Athlete of the Week. Applicants must be a high school senior, have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and display a history of athletic and academic accomplishments, as well as community/civic involvement.
At the end of the school year, all weekly winners are invited to a banquet held in their honor.
Two students are selected as Athletes of the Year and will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Sign Up to Round Up!
The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of Madison County Schools. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding we can receive. Estimates show that if just half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools! By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of our students!
You can easily sign up to round up online:
http://www.hsvutil.org/myhsvu…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out.
Thank you for supporting one of our community partners! Go Bucks!
