Principal's Update
Scappoose Students, Families, and Staff,
Hello Scappoose Community,
Last week was a week to celebrate a large group of students. SHS Chamber Choir and SHS Band qualified for state competition! We also had our FBLA students put on a dominant performance at regionals and now have fourteen students qualify for nationals in June! Congrats to the students and diligent educators! Prom is this week, on Friday the 21st, in Downtown Hillsboro at The Venetian Theatre. In order for guests to attend prom, the guest registration form must be fully completed and turned in to the main office or emailed to tgift@scappoose.k12.or.us by Monday, April 17 by 4:00 pm. Forms after this time will not be accepted. All students in attendance will be required to complete a breathalyzer test before entering. Refusal to do so forfeits entrance to Prom. Please see below for important schedule announcements, leadership activities, and athletics.
Go Indians!

Senior Luncheon, Fri Jun 2: After the seniors do their parade-style walk through the elementary schools, they come back to the high school to refuel with some lunch and then start rehearsal for the graduation ceremony. Lunch is provided by the Safe & Sober parent organization.
Baccalaureate, Fri Jun 2 @ 7 pm in the auditorium: This is an optional event based on the ceremony of blessing that has often preceded graduations. Ours is a non-denominational and inspirational celebration and will include a guest speaker, the senior slideshow, and more. The slideshow is put together by the Safe & Sober parent organization along with some light refreshments.
