FHS ATHLETIC EVENTS REMINDER FOR YOUNGER FANS
As a reminder for our high school athletic events, students from the elementary and middle school attending any FHS athletic events must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver. Students that come to the event without an accompanying parent/guardian/caregiver will not be admitted to the event. Students who need redirection regarding their behavior at any FHS athletic events will be brought back to their parent/guardian/caregiver. Thank you for helping us do what we can to keep our events enjoyable for all fans and focused on the athletic endeavors of our players.
REMINDER: SPEAK UP SPEAK OUT FORM
#SeeSayDay is September 25th and this is a day where everyone is encouraged and reminded that if you “see something to say something.” We want to remind Franklin Public Schools families of a tool we have to help assist with this if there is something you or your child feels the need to report. The District is part of “Speak Up Speak Out Wisconsin” for threat or incident reporting. Click on this link to view the form. You will notice as you start typing the name of your school, the choices for schools narrows so you can select your school. By selecting your school, this report goes to the principal or local law enforcement when needed. The video below also gives a good overview of how “Speak Up Speak Out Wisconsin” works and is good to review with your family.
Starting with this newsletter, we will have a button at the bottom of all of our newsletters for the Speak Up Speak Out Wisconsin form that you can click on for quick access to report incidents if needed. You can also add the Speak Up Speak Out App on your phone for quick reporting by utilizing these links: iOS | Android

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR 10/16-10/20
The fall book fair is coming soon. Support our school and help your child discover new books by shopping at our Book Fair. The Fair will be offered starting Monday October 16th until Friday the 20th. It will be open during the school day and closed during the lunch hour. You can still shop virtually and have books shipped to your house by visiting our website below. If you are sending money with your child to buy books please put in an envelope with the amount written on the outside. This helps our volunteers to assist your child with buying books.
When visiting our website please consider setting up an eWallet account. Setting up an eWallet allows you to add money to your account online. When students shop at the Book Fair, they won't need to bring in money, we will look up their e-Wallet account to pay for books. Any unused money can be used to buy books at the Scholastic Store online. If you have questions please reach out to Tabitha Schultz or Becky Wasikowski at bookfairpv@gmail.com.
We are excited to let you know that we are working on a 2023- 2024 Pleasant View Directory for all of the families in our school! This is completely optional, if you do not want your child’s information shared in the directory you do not need to include it. Here is the link for the form that you need to fill out if you want your child’s information included. Pleasant View Directory Form . Please fill out one form for each child. This form needs to be completed by Friday September 22. We will sort the responses by grade level and send out the completed directory as a google sheet.
