I Couldn't Resist Using This Title For This Week As It Hits To The Core For All Of Us...
Stretching Beyond The Norm By Thinking Outside The Box...
Staff:
I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend. For us, like some others out there, it was a weekend of getting my son back to school. The family stuff is always fun and exciting at the same time.
On the work front, I hope everyone enjoyed the PD opportunity from last Friday. Professional Development is essential for everyone to be able to dig in and get a deeper understanding of pertinent items within our jobs. Additionally, it's always a nice perk when you can meet with cross district personnel to discuss work items.
This will be a very busy week with Term #2 ending. Please remember to communicate with parents of students who aren't passing or close to failure. Also remember to keep an open mind and really work hard to meet students where they are and build them up. I know it isn't easy at times, but all students deserve a teacher that sees this aspect of instructional methodology. Remember, students come to us from all different places and no two students learn the same way. Thanks for understanding and your continued commitment to reach all of your students. It's truly what makes our school such a great place to learn.
Have a great week with your students!
