MIS Weekly Update

Bobcat News

Dec. 14 - Dec. 18

Good afternoon,

I hope we all will take time to enjoy this week with our colleagues and students! I hope everyone will join in the fun and participate in the following events as we close out 2015 together!

Staff Events for the Week:

Tuesday - Holiday Sock/Tie/Hat Day

Wednesday - Anonymous "Thank You" Note Day (Please write one for a staff member and place in their box)

Thursday - Tacky Holiday Sweater and Jean Day/ Santa Visit for Staff Children

Friday - Hot Cocoa and Cookies for Staff!

I have been amazed at the amount of student collaboration that has been taking place throughout each grade level in recent days. Thank you for being so attentive in our PD sessions this week and quickly implementing strategies in your instruction!

  • This week will be filled with gingerbread houses, the exchange of gifts, and the excitement that always accompanies our pending break! Please enjoy time with students and colleagues and continue to be mindful of our students who may not look forward to time away from their school family. Let's provide them love and care this week before they head home.
  • Please take time over the break to enjoy your family and friends and more importantly take time for yourself so we can come back recharged for the second half of the school year.

Quote of the Week: "There is no limit to what can be accomplished when no one cares who gets the credit" - John Wooden
