Creighton University's Upward Bound Programs
Upward Bound is holding an information session on Creighton University's campus on Friday, February 8th, from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at the Harper Center Building, so that interested families may learn more about our program and pick-up an application for eligible students. To be eligible, students must be first-generation college bound and/or meet federal government low-income guidelines.
If you're not familiar with us, TRiO's Upward Bound programs are federally funded college preparatory programs geared toward students who may not have the support systems at home to successfully graduate high school with the ACT scores, scholarships, and academic and social skills necessary to succeed in college. (More information is available online: https://www.creighton.edu/trio/upwardbound/).
Wednesday Night School
WMS will be starting an after-school consequence on Wednesday evening. This will be a 2-hour detention from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Teachers will provide homework for students to work on. No Cell Phones will be allowed. Please note that there is not a late bus on Wednesdays, so parents will need to pick up. Deans will notify the parent prior to the Wednesday night school being assigned.

Cold Weather Care for your Mac Book
- Before turning on your computer, allow it to sit out and reach room temperature (between 50 and 95 Fahrenheit). Powering on the computer while the ambient temperature is outside of this range can cause damage to the computer.
- Do not leave your computer in the car or any place where it might be exposed to extreme temperatures for extended periods of time (more than a few hours).
- Keep your computer sleeve/case zipped up to help prevent snow and rain from getting inside, but be aware that the bag is not waterproof.
Please call the WMS Tech Support Department with any additional questions or concerns about your computer. Tech Support Office: (402) 408-8606
