CRUSADER NEWS THAT YOU CAN USE....
December 20, 2018
This Week's Recap....
We have had two phenomenal Christmas programs. I hope that you were able to attend. We had a great turn out from our kids. Some classes had 100% participation!
Thank you to everyone involved in this, especially Mr. Harden who did an amazing job of working with the kids and who had such great artistic vision. Thank you to our narrators and cast of judges. Thank you to the teachers who helped to prepare the kids, make or arrange for costumes, etc.
The PTL sponsored a wonderful visit with Santa for the PK thru 1st grade students. Your child is coming home with a photo. We are blessed to have such a wonderful and involved group of parents. There is always room for any parent who wants to get involved. Thank you, PTL.
We are supporting Good Shepherd Orphanage in Carrfour, Haiti with our offerings. I wired $2,500 to help with the expenses of the Christmas dinner that the orphanage provides to about 2000 children from the neighboring area, as well as a small gift. I will provide photos to you all at a later date. We still need additional offerings to cover this, so please be generous with chapel tomorrow.
There is early release tomorrow. OOS is available but if you are able to pick your children up at dismissal please do so. The kids are ready to be on Christmas vacation and so are we! They have been VERY excited this week.
We invite you to worship with us at our Christmas eve candlelight service at 7PM and/or our Christmas Day service at 10AM. Our church is your church.
Have a wonderful Christmas day and holiday. We will see you all back at school on Monday, January 7.

Merry Christmas from our Staff
I have to tell you that teaching and all areas of running a school is very hard work. And we really care and enjoy what we do. I hope that it shows.
Be safe, enjoy family time, eat yummy foods but most of all, worship Christ who is the true reason for the season.
TAG... YOU'RE IT!
SEE YOU ON JANUARY 7TH!
Love, your teachers and staff

Coming Soon in January....
Cooler Weather is here... LOST AND FOUND is out of control!
There are two problems here.
1. Very irresponsible children who are not keeping track of their belongings
2. Parents not writing names in the jackets or sweaters so that they can be returned when the children are irresponsible.
In the navy school jacket, you can write the name on the white backing inside the jacket where the logo is, or in the white strip on the neck if you prefer.
Please encourage your children to be responsible. They should really be worried about going home without the jackets that you worked hard to purchase for them. By the look of it, not too many children are worried.
The reality is.... once an unmarked jacket ends up in the lost and found, we have no way of knowing who it belongs to and anyone can claim it.
