Pammy Poem
Pammy
Youthful, Blonde, Annoying, Foolish
Daughter of Daisy and Tom Buchanan
Lover of her ponies, Daisy, and her dolls
Who feels loved around Daisy, scared around Tom, and happy with her ponies
Who needs Daisy, her dolls, and her ponies
Who gives love to Daisy, hatred towards Tom, and carrots to her ponies
Who fears Tom when he's been drinking, losing her doll, and getting kicked by her ponies
Who would like to see Daisy divorce Tom, Gatsby marry Daisy, and Jordan not cheat in golf
Resident of East Egg
Buchanan
"I hope she'll be a fool that's the best thing a girl can be in this world a beautiful little fool" Pg 21
I chose this quote because it's really the only quote about her in this entire book. I think this is what her mother would like her to be. But her parents set expectations that can never be reached even the bad expectations. She has been a constant disappointment to Tom and Daisy even when she is born. Both her parents wanted a boy but no she just had to be difficult and disappoint them by being a girl. She is even smart. I feel bad for Tom and Daisy.
A Fool
This is what her mother wanted for her but Pammy is to stubborn to listen to her. Pammy could never be a fool even if she tried to. Its not in her personality to act foolish.
Ponies
I added this because i'm assuming that Pammy has ponies because her dad is huge polo player. I'm also assuming that because she is a little girl she will like to dress up her ponies.......a lot.
