We are fortunate to have Adam Hartley and Travis Thomas as our guest speakers for our first PBIS assembly of the year on Thursday, October 1st. Travis is the son of Bill Thomas founder of Halo Burger. Adam is the founder of GearUp2Lead and a former Montrose educator. A big thanks to Shayne Mishler for contacting Adam who is bringing Travis to us on Thursday! Also, thank you to Bryan Moody and the student council for helping to support the venture and to continue the learning to lead on Friday at the GearUp2Lead conference. Below is Travis's Bio if you would like to share with our students. He plans on being very interactive with the audience and it should be a great time!
Travis Thomas Bio:
Give Travis Thomas 30 seconds and he can teach you how to improvise. Give him a whole workshop and he can teach you how to transform your life! In this fun and interactive session Travis will share his inspiration of how he took his career as an improvisational comedian and transitioned it into helping professional athletes, CEO’s, and kids of all ages through the principles of improvisation. This session is not about being able to perform on stage, but rather being the star, lead performer, and hero of your own life!WEEK AT A GLANCE
