Wisconsin Charter School Case Studies
Wisconsin communities and school districts continue to work hard for solutions to better support ALL learners. Charter Schools have been used by many communities and school districts as a solution to serve educationally disadvantaged students* differently. WRCCS has worked with many communities to support the charter school in their endeavor to find solutions to better serve ALL students. WRCCS has put together a case studies document to highlight a few of the amazing charter schools' solutions that are happening around the state. Each case study will have a need statement, DOE priority areas addressed, and the charter school as a solution.
*Educationally disadvantaged students - economically disadvantaged students, students with disabilities, migrant students, limited English proficient students (also referred to as English learners or English language learners), neglected or delinquent students, or homeless students.

New! WRCCS eCourse Booklet
The Wisconsin Resource Center for Charter Schools has produced a comprehensive set of online courses (eCourses) via the Buzz platform to support the creation and improvement of charter schools. The WRCCS eCourses allow you to customize your own learning experience on demand. These eCourses are organized into seven domains: Authorizer, Governance Board, Charter Leadership, Charter Classroom, Students, Families, and General Information. Each course consists of a playlist of resources for every type of learner and you can take an eCourse at your own pace, with no obligation to a set schedule. You will also have the opportunity to share your ideas and questions and collaborate with others on our Buzz Share Board.
Each eCourse is explained in this booklet to help participants better identify courses that align with needs and interests. Still not seeing what you want? Do not hesitate to reach out to WRCCS and we can customize some content for you.
How to create a Buzz account is on page 16 of this booklet.
