Students checking their own lexile.

Teachers have students who want to see their lexile level. We will soon be testing their final lexile level for the year. Right now, follow these directions. Maybe you can do this with your advisory classes on your projector and have students follow along. Its also a great resource that kids don't always look at. It gives the kids information about different careers and what reading level they must have in order to enter that field.

You can see the screen shot below:


Students can see their Lexile by going to top right hand corner >Resources>Career Center>

From there they can explore careers and they will see their lexile and a thermometer type visual on where their lexile is compared to that career.

Once they choose a top career, there is a link on their homepage they can easily click on each month to see their new Lexile.

30 HOURS of Community Service Challenge Begins,

ALL Library books are due on Friday, May 20th, 2016.

NCUST Visit on May 23

Teachers, staff and studednts. GRANGER has been asked to participate as one of NCUST's 2016 NEUE High Performing School Site Visits. NCUST has scheduled one group of about 50 people to visit Granger Junior High on Monday, May 23, 2016.


The group will arrive to Granger at 8:30 am and tour the school until 11:00 am. Once the tour is complete the group will sit for lunch (NCUST will provide lunch) and discussion from 11:00 am - 11:30 am. At 11:30 am the group will begin to load back onto the bus and depart for their next visit.
