The semester ends in mid-January. At that point, you may opt to transition to in-person instruction. You can access the Lakers Online application and learn more about Lakers Online by visiting this web page:

Lakers Online is open to all current West Bloomfield School District students and to students across Oakland County through the district’s Schools of Choice program. Lakers Online was developed in an effort to provide additional opportunities for families as they decide what type of instruction is best for their students moving forward.
Students and families can learn more about Lakers Online by visiting www.wbsd.org/lakersonline or by contacting the district’s Teaching and Learning department at LakersOnline@wbsd.org or (248) 865-6479.
In-Person Instruction
If you choose to be a part of in-person instruction, then there is no form required. As long as you enrolled your child in school, you will be scheduled for in-person instruction (unless you applied for Lakers Online).
For in-person instruction, there will be two cohorts--Cohort A and Cohort B. Cohort A will attend live instruction from 8:25 to 11:05 AM. Cohort B will attend live instruction from 12:37 to 3:17 PM.

A Few Additional Tidbits
Masks
The district has decided that all students will be expected to wear masks throughout the day. There may be medical exceptions for this, as long as the appropriate documentation is provided. If you are uncomfortable with the mask expectation, then you may want to pursue Lakers Online.
No Guests in the Building
An important factor to understand is the fact that our guest policy will be significantly different this fall. Unlike normal years, we will not be allowing parent guests in the classrooms throughout the day.
Computer Devices Being Issued to Each Student
Communication from the district went out earlier this week about device distribution. Each child will be issued a school chromebook for use at home. This will enable students to access remote instruction.
School Supplies
We are in the process of streamlining our school supply list for the fall. The supply list will be available the week of August 3rd.
Kids Klub
Kids Klub is an option for child care before and after our official bell times. Kids Klub is available as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 6:30 PM. Please see the link below for more details.
