Arrival:
Doors will open at 8:35 am. Students who arrive by bus, will enter the building through the grade level wings. Students that come through the car line will enter through the playground doors. Walkers may enter through the grade level wings, main entrance, or the recess doors.
****For at least the first week, all Kindergarten students will enter through the exterior gym doors located across from the playground blacktop. This is so we can get all of them to their classrooms safely.
All children who are late to school after 8:45 a.m. will need to sign in at the office using the Welcome Window.
Morning Carline Drop Off:
The Dressel gates will open at 8:30 for car riders to enter and drive around the back of school. Staff will be there to greet students and direct vehicles. Please pull around to the recess doors and have your student(s) ready to exit the vehicle.
Dismissal:
Car Riders:
We ask that all caregivers download the PikMyKid app, see the information below. This app allows you to check in and adds your child's name to our list. We also have a staff member outside to assist in this checking-in process. Caregivers that pick up will enter through the parking lot's main entrance and continue through the gate to around back. The gates will open at 3:20.
If your student is a Carline pick-up student, they will wait in the gym until their name is called. Caregivers do not get out of the car. We will have staff members walk your children out and to the cars after the car line stops moving.
Walkers/Bike Riders
If your student(s) plans to walk to school or ride a bike, please complete this form. It MUST be on file for Dressel to release your student through this line. We will also ID adults who are picking students up to ensure everyone's safety. Please come prepared.
*This process is slower the first few days as our youngest students learn the routine! Buses may also run late as they continue to learn their routes. We ask that you please be patient and not call the main office. We will send out notifications in the first few days to update families when buses leave the lot.
Car Riders and walkers will be dismissed at approximately 3:35 pm.
Bus riders will be walked to the bus by staff and be dismissed around 3:45.
Nurse Notes - Stacy Hartley
Any physicals, notes from specialists, doctor orders for treatments or medications should be submitted prior to the first day of school along with any action plans as applicable. All medications necessary at school must be delivered to the nurse by an adult (not brought in with a student) and accompanied with a note from your child's health care provider.
If your child has a chronic health condition (Food Allergies, Asthma, Diabetes, ADHD, heart condition etc..), please contact me to discuss, to ensure the health and safety of your child during the school day.
If you have not already completed the annual health form, please do so in your child's Infinite Campus Portal account on the Lindbergh website.
I will be available during these times:
8/15 - 4:30-6:30 - New Family Welcome
8/16 - 4:30-6:30 - Kindergarten Orientation
8/17 - 5:30-7:30 Meet the Teacher
8/18 - 12:00-3:00

Meet the Teacher Night for 1st-5th grade will be on August 17th from 5:30-7:20!
Meet the Teacher Night provides an opportunity for families and students to visit their new classroom, drop off school supplies, and of course meet your teacher! Families will sign up for a 20-minute time slot between 5:30 and 7:20. The sign-up link will be sent on August 1st when teacher placements are shared. Our hope is by having families sign-up for a time, we will keep our parking lot from being overcrowded and this will allow teachers to be able to spend more time with families individually. We hope to see you there!
Meet the Teacher Sign-Up - click here to sign up for a time.

At Kindergarten orientation, families will sign up to either be in Group 1 or Group 2. Depending on your group, you will either head straight to the classroom or head on a tour with our Dressel Ambassadors.

PikMyKid
PikmyKid
Dressel uses the PikMyKid platform to improve the safety and efficiency of our pick-up process. Families will need to download the PikMyKid app on their cell phones. This free app can be found in the app store and will allow you to notify the school of pick-up changes, authorize others to pick-up your child from school, alert you when your child has been picked up or sent home on the bus, as well as help organize the car line during pick-up.
The registration process is easy. If you have not done so already, we ask that all families register with the phone application as soon as possible. Please make sure you register with your personal current mobile phone number or the app will not allow you to access your child’s information for security reasons.
If you do not think the school has your mobile number on file or if your child does not appear on your app’s home page, contact support@pikmykid.com after registration, with your child’s name, school, grade, and updated contact information for you.
Anyone who will be picking up your child should also register themselves with the application. Their screen will be blank and they will not have any authorization until you allow it within the app.

District News
Infinite Campus
Completing your student’s required paperwork through the Annual Verification process each summer helps us prepare for a successful start to the school year.
Each year, our district requires Annual Verification of information to be completed for all new and returning students. This helps us guarantee bus transportation, confirm contact information, assign teachers and finalize student schedules, learn about your student’s health needs, and make sure meal accounts are set up and ready to go.
- If you have received your link and have been able to register, please complete the Annual Verification process on the Infinite Campus Portal.
- If you have not received a link or your registration is not allowing you access, please email ICSupport@lindberghschools.ws. We ask for your patience as we work to respond to each email as quickly as possible.
We appreciate your patience as we transition to our new student information system, Infinite Campus. Infinite Campus is replacing the SIS Portal that has been used in previous years, and we are working hard behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for the new school year.
How to Access Infinite Campus
To access Infinite Campus, parents and guardians must first create a new user account. This can be done by clicking the link in the Infinite Campus email that is automatically being sent to families each week.
It is essential to follow the step-by-step directions in this auto-generated email, in order to ensure access to the verification process.
If you have not received a link from Infinite Campus, please email ICSupport@lindberghschools.ws.
Helpful tips for creating an Infinite Campus account:
- Use Google Chrome.
- Do not exit the Infinite Campus portal until your account security has been verified. Account security can happen in two ways after you create your username and password: 1) Go to your email inbox and click the auto-generated link to verify, OR 2) in Infinite Campus, select the person icon, then click “settings,” “account settings,” and “account security email” to enter your email address.
- Bookmark the Infinite Campus link in your web browser.
- Record your username and password for future reference.
Bus Information
School Bus Signup is Required
To guarantee bus transportation for your student, families must complete the annual verification process before the start of the 2023-24 school year. Transportation signup is a part of annual verification. (See information above)
Student bus stop assignments, and pickup and drop-off times, will be available in the Infinite Campus Portal on Aug. 16. Families should check pickup and drop-off times frequently during the first few weeks of school, since routes are subject to change as student enrollment continues. Please allow 10 minutes before and after your scheduled pickup time to account for traffic and other delays.
Lindbergh Schools partners with First Student to provide transportation for eligible students living within district boundaries in a safe, economic and efficient manner. Student ridership and seating capacity is monitored closely to create the most efficient routes to serve our students.
Transportation To and From School
Eligible Students:
Elementary school students who live more than one half mile from school.
Middle and high school students who live more than one mile from school.
Students who ride regularly, at least once a week.
Non Eligible Students:
Students who attend a school located outside of their attendance zone.
Students who are transported by Special School District (SSD).
Students who only need transportation for special program shuttles during the school day.
Considerations are made when there are no safe walk-to-school zones and hazards, and all routes must be within a student’s school attendance zone. In addition, students will not be permitted to ride any bus except the one to which they are assigned.
Bus Information available on August 16th!
Routes will be available in the parent portal on the 16th of August.
We've heard some feedback from families not seeing information about routes or requests. If a family said NO to transportation on their annual verification forms, they must complete the Change of Transportation form (found on the district website in the transportation section) to be added to a bus roster.

The free and reduced-price meals application is an electronic form, and will be available through the Infinite Campus Portal in early August. We will notify families when this form is available.
Filling out a form could also result in additional financial assistance for your family. In Lindbergh, those benefits include:
50% reduction in student technology fees
50% reduction in middle school and high school annual activity fee
Financial assistance for eligible Lindbergh Community Ed and Rec programs. This includes up to 50% registration reduction for many sports and activities.
