2023 End of Year Picnics
- You may start checking in at Insperity 20 minutes before picnic time.
- You will receive a check in sticker when you check in.
- Students will be allowed 2 adult guests and any pre-school siblings. School-aged children are not allowed to attend a sibling's picnic.
- All guests need to be listed as guardians or contacts for the child in Home Access Center. For assistance with this contact Groves Front Office. The legal name that is listed on the driver's license must be listed in Home Access Center as well as used on this form.
- If checking out your student after their picnic, you will check out with the classroom teacher before leaving Insperity.
- Siblings in other grades can be checked out at the front office.
- Students that are checked out from Groves Elementary, are not allowed to attend a sibling's spring party.

Special Note From The Nurse
Health & Medication forms must be completed YEARLY. Forms for next year can be accepted if completed/signed after July 1st. These forms are district wide and can be used for any Humble ISD school. Please click the link below for the link to to the district health forms page. Forms and medication for next year should be dropped off together by a parent or guardian at the start of next school year.
Please note that the medical authorization form may be printed multiple times. EACH medication must have a separate authorization form.
Library Book Help!
Groves families, we are still looking for just under 400 books. Check your emails to see if you received a notice from the library. Look around and let's get that list down to ZERO books due! Girls Scouts Food Drive
Important Information
We want to make sure all students get their full learning experiences each and every day. Reminder that the school day begins at 7:55, and tardies begin at 8:00.
Attendance is extremely important to success in school! Please see more information here and here about why attendance matters and what you can do to help.
A few safety reminders:
-Student drop-offs are not allowed in the staff parking lot/bus and daycare lane in the mornings.
-School doors open at 7:30, prior to this time there is no supervision for students.
-Cell phone use while driving is not allowed on school property per Texas Transportation Code (unless you are using a handsfree device).
ATTENDANCE
It is important that all student absences be reported to the school in a timely manner. Please use ONE of the following methods to report the absence.
- Call the attendance line at 281-641-5019 or
- Email the attendance specialist at deirdre.hemsing@humbleisd.net
- Complete the online absence form that can be found here.
If your student has visited a doctor while they were absent then please make sure to send in a signed/stamped doctors note within 48 hours of their return to school.
Attendance is taken at 9:55am
Students must be in class at that time to be marked present.

Pre- Registration for Kindergarten
We are so excited your family is joining our Humble ISD family! This year, we are launching the Kinder Club Initiative. Kinder Club was created as a way to introduce families to Humble ISD and the Humble ISD Education Foundation.
Come see us at the Kindergarten Roundups at your school and join the coolest club in town! We would love to share with you how the Humble ISD Education Foundation supports our students and educators. Join the club for $20 and your child will receive a Kinder Club shirt with his/her graduation year and a drawstring backpack with educational resources to get them ready for success in kindergarten.
