Reminders:

CFA PD

Thank you for viewing the first CFA webinar last week. Remember that you need to log on to complete the reflection and sign off on the sign in sheet for this activity. Both activities can be found here: https://www.smore.com/gyya7

Educate Alabama

PLPs were to be completed last week. I know that there were technical issues with the site. Please continue to try to complete this process this week if you were unable to complete it last week due to web site issues.

Pictures

I am trying to manage our Social Media pages, but it is difficult to capture all of the awesome things happening in your classes. Please text any pictures that you take to my work phone 251-281-5682. I would love to showcase your classes more!

Requred Student FOLDERS

You must have an test folder for each child on your roll. Make sure that all assessments are filed regularly. Remember to write accommodations provided on sped tests.

Every student must also have a RED discipline folder. File behavior charts at the end of each month as well as any parent communication, discipline referrals, and parent communication logs at the end of each quarter. Red folders must accompany discipline referrals to the office!

ATTENDANCE MONTH

Please stress the importance of the 20 day attendance count to your students and parents! We will hold a celebration for students who were present each day. The count started the day after Labor Day and ends October 5!
Big image
Thank you all so much for your hard work and dedication to our students. You have tackled new system initiatives and program changes (and revisions) with a great level of professionalism. It is my hope that we have all found our footing and can continue through the year with clarity and focus! If you aren't at that point yet, please come and let me know so that we can help you to get there. Thank you for all that you do!

Have a great week!
