Gallatin High Friday Update
September 11, 2020
Friday Reflection
All students received a commemorative t-shirt this week when they had school pictures taken. If your student did not receive their shirt, let us know and we will be sure to get one to them.
Canvas Update
We are still working to activate our teachers' courses on Canvas and load the students and content into each course. Next week, students should begin to access their individual courses. Teachers will provide them with specific instructions through that transition.
Until Canvas is fully up and running, teachers will be communicating to students via email for remote days so please be sure you are checking your school email daily.

Logistics
Please use Annie Street for student drop off. We are having congestion issues in the west student parking lot and bus lane.
School Pictures
If you are interested in ordering school pictures, please go to www.lifetouch.com and enter school code: EVT3SGC7H You can also view this link with order information.
Attendance
If your student is not feeling well or displaying any of these symptoms, please keep them home. Sending them to school when they don't feel well may result in a visit to the nurse and possibly a ten day quarantine for safety purposes.
All-in-One Form
f you have not done so already, please complete your “All-in-One Parent Permission” forms. These forms are in electronic format, located in your PowerSchool Parent Portal, under Forms.
Back-to-School Night
In lieu of a traditional Back-to-School Night, we will be offering a virtual version. Teachers will create an introductory video in Canvas and they will be available for you after Monday, September 21st. More information will be forthcoming when that date gets closer.
Library and other Check out Items
If you or your student still have any items checked out from last school year, all items can be returned to the GHS library and they will send them back to their proper location. Please bring in any items in order to avoid fines.
Activities and Athletics
Our teams have been making a strong showing so far this fall. The girls soccer team is 2-2 and the boys golf team has won three of their first four tournaments. This weekend is a great opportunity to support Raptor athletics and wish our teams well as football, volleyball, boys and girls soccer, and cross-country all host events.
