The Riebli Record
September 4, 2020
This week, I challenged your students to "Be focused" in class. This is getting hard for the kiddos. We are ending week 3, curriculum has started, things are more demanding, assignments are getting harder. This weekend, help your students practice being focused as you take a break from school.
I also was to challenge all the adults to take this weekend to "be present" with your kids. We spend so much of the day on the computer, we all need a break. Make yourself a promise to stop one thing this weekend to help you be present. To keep me accountable, I promise not to check work email all weekend, even though it is a long weekend. (I always end up checking it on Monday). Now, what are you replacing that with?? I promise to take a LONG walk with my family each day. I will check in next week with my results. We need each other to keep us accountable. What do you plan to do to this be present weekend???
From my heart to yours,
Emily

A message from PTA
Hello Riebli families,
Our Community is strong and incredibly giving. They have given to our school over and over again in one way or another.
With the world around us changing daily, we as a PTA would love to give back.
Please nominate a local business, independent consultant, restaurant, etc. for us to showcase on our social media platforms. We will choose one a week and encourage our Riebli families to support through purchasing product and/or reposting and talking about our amazing community. You can send your nominations and the reasons why to RiebliPTA@gmail.com
Thank you,
The PTA

Students will receive an official Riebli Running Bib to wear for the event.
Attach this running bib to your shirt, take a picture and send it into the PTA to get counted for participation. The grade level with the most participation wins a prize!
