One month in, we got this Dragons!!!


You did it!! We were thrilled to see you in person on Wednesday and Thursday. We thank everyone that is remaining virtual for your patience with us as we gave time for safe transition.

The next week will be our last phase in---going fully virtual and fully in person at the same time. It will not be perfect and we will be hard at work making the transition as user friendly as possible. Let's continue to be patient with each other and together we will thrive through the unknown.

What is going on this week?

  • Monday: Full Hybrid Schedule begins with morning care and after school care--Schedule change for ALL.
  • Friday: Half Day!

Like every week, at the very end of the Dragon Roar is a Children's liturgy explaining Sunday's Gospel in kid-friendly language--great video to watch before going to/watching Mass for understanding our liturgy. Mrs. Heidi Witte, who makes the videos below, is a dear friend from graduate school at Notre Dame and I know our PK to 4th graders will love her weekly video--for our older students, it's a great tool to breakdown the complex language we find in scripture.

We are all in this together, firmly rooted NO MATTER WHAT!

September 14 and beyond: F2F AND Virtual Concurrent Schedule

BOTH VIRTUAL AND FACE TO FACE Students will tune into their class following the live schedule for the day in real-time.

This is our official hybrid schedule starting September 14.

For virtual students in PreK to 2nd grade, you will click your homeroom hyperlink at the TOP and tune into the same live stream all day.

For 3rd to 8th-grade virtual students, the schedule is hyperlinked for your classes.

  • Please note: Morning care available starting at 7AM (free of charge), After school care until 5:30PM (ASC rates apply--Monthly or 1 business day notice drop-in)
  • First Period Start Times: 7:30AM for Prek/K, 7:45AM for 1st-4th, 8AM for 5th to 8th
  • Dismissal: 2:30PM-2:45PM for Prek/K, 2:45PM-3PM for 1st-4th, 3-3:15PM for 5th to 8th

Above all, trust in the slow work of God.

We are quite naturally impatient in everything to reach the end without delay.

We should like to skip the intermediate stages.

We are impatient of being on the way to something unknown, something new.

And yet it is the law of all progress

that it is made by passing through some stages of instability—

and that it may take a very long time.

And so I think it is with you;

your ideas mature gradually—let them grow,

let them shape themselves, without undue haste.

Don’t try to force them on,

as though you could be today what time

(that is to say, grace and circumstances acting on your own goodwill)

will make of you tomorrow.

Only God could say what this new spirit

gradually forming within you will be.

Give Our Lord the benefit of believing

that his hand is leading you,

and accept the anxiety of feeling yourself

in suspense and incomplete.
