Personal Protective Measures
Books Can Be Borrowed Through Click & Deliver
A library service is still available to the school community through Click & Deliver. Just email your librarian with your requests and the books can be delivered to your Form rooms directly.
H & S restrictions are in place. Each book is wiped down with disinfectant wipes. Any books that have been borrowed have a three day turn around before they can be borrowed again.
BORROWING OPTIONS
Students and staff can place book borrowing requests via direct email to our librarian Ms Jennings or our online catalogue reservation system Eclipse.
Eclipse can be accessed from the library icon on the My School launch pad. An app can also be downloaded onto your phone.
Reservations
Any reservations will be delivered to form rooms.
BOOK FLIX
Online Borrowing & Online Resources- Borrowing Off Site
BORROWING
Students who are members of their public library can download the Libby app OR Overdrive onto their phone and borrow e-book and audio book stock from NI Libraries using their library card number. Currently Kirklees Library is also offering temporary access to their collections. You can access their register link by visiting https://www.kirklees.gov.uk/beta/libraries/kirklees-libraries.aspx
RESEARCH REQUESTS
Students with research requests can email their queries to the librarian or ask directly. I will follow up and reply by email. Any relevant material I find will be posted on Google Classroom. Codes available on request.
