According to Louisiana Guide to Digital Literacy Kindergarten students should be introduced the rules for the classroom and the school itself regarding the responsible use for computers and networks. This guide also suggests that these students should be introduced to what cyber-bullying is and how to deal with it.

-Go over the classroom rules and school policies with your children.
-Discuss what cyber-bullying is with your children.
-Encourage your child to always be kind even online.
Privacy and Security
Privacy and Security is definitely something that has to be introduced at an early age starting in school, especially since we are more technology friendly than ever. We are having to teach our students how to create strong passwords and explain to them not to trust everything that is on the internet.

-Explain what is privacy and security while surfing the web
-Explain how you keep information private.

-Give your children a variety of technologies to become familiar with.

-Get involved with your children and show them how to use the computer.
