No Winter Concert at Grant in December!
Penny War money goes to two GREAT causes!
Grade level classrooms (both Kindergartens, both First Grades, etc) work together to see how many points they can earn. Points are earned by bringing pennies or "paper" (checks or dollar bills). Points are deducted if any silver coins (nickels, dimes, quarters, half-dollars) are deposited in a classroom bucket.
This "penny war" will run through December 18. Each week, PTO volunteers will tally how many points each grade earns and will take the money to the bank. Updates will be posted on the Grant Elementary PTO Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/PTOGrantElementary/
