VJB is seeking submissions!
The Virginia Journal of Bioethics (VJB) invites undergraduates and graduates to submit their papers to be considered for publication in our Spring 2016 issue. We always welcome the submission of term papers and topics may encompass any material so long as they touch on modern bioethical issues. All papers will be considered for submission. Art will also be accepted and published; some examples include clinical narratives, poetry, photographs, paintings, and any other visual art pieces which can be printed.
Our audience ranges from other undergraduate students to scholars in the field, and even the public. Our publication is distributed in print and is accessible through our website, virginiabioethics.org
Our final submission deadline for our Spring 2016 issue is on Friday, April 14th. All submissions must be submitted to VAbioethics@gmail.com. For more information regarding submissions, please see the attached flyer.

NEDA Walk
The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Since 2009, NEDA Walks have united communities, raising awareness and funds for NEDA's lifesaving programs! We invite you to join us for for the 2016 Charlottesville, VA NEDA Walk on Saturday, April 23 at 10 am. The event, culminating in a 1-mile walk around UVa's Grounds, features speakers, sponsors, music and fun, all while raising money for a great cause. You can create a team with your organization, register individually, or join the HOPE(Hoos Open to Preventing Eating Disorders) team--registration is 15 dollars for students, and you get a t-shirt and a tote bag, while all money goes directly to NEDA. Our fundraising goal for this year's walk is $10,000, and we need YOUR help to get there! Check out the walk page at http://nedawalk.org/charlottesville2016 for more info and to sign up, and contact Tricia O'Donnell at pao2bb@virginia.edu with any questions.
