Learning and Growing!

Instruction is in full force throughout BSE. Kindergarteners are learning to read the pictures in books to tell a story. This week they made and used puppets to retell the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. First graders are building stamina and rereading texts to grow as a reader. Second graders are busy writing small moment stories by selecting an event in their life and writing a story. Maybe it was their first time riding a bike, or loosing a tooth. Third graders are growing as researchers reading, writing, and discovering rocks and minerals. Finally fourth graders are scientists experimenting with kinetic and potential energy. Engagement is high at BSE!
