Recognizing Positive Behavior - The Power of Attention means "What we focus on we get more of"

Cadott Elementary Staff recognizes the importance to applaud students when they display positive character traits. This week we would like to recognize:

Tabitha - Mrs. Alexander recognized Tabitha for positive behavior. Tabitha's positive attitude, thoughtfulness, and kind actions towards others are a definite bright spot in the classroom!

Airiana - Mrs. Nitz recognized Airiana for positive behavior. Airiana is always such a great role model for her peers. I can count on her to be listening, on task and working hard.

Mrs. Drake's Class - Mrs. Drake recognized her class for positive behavior. Mrs. Drake stated, "Our school family members showed outstanding character when they pulled together to support a classmate who was struggling to feel worth and belonging. They demonstrated maturity by being respectful and attentive of her feelings, stayed focused on helping the situation, and offered words of kindness and comfort until our family was whole again."

Grace - Mrs. Goettl recognized Grace for positive behavior. Grace took the time help clean up paper towel that was left on the hallway floor.

Anna - Mrs. Hanson recognized Anna for positive behavior. Anna is a great role model to her peers. She is also a wonderful helper.

Keegan - Mrs. Hanson recognized Keegan for positive behavior. Keegan goes out of his way to be kind to those around him. He is a great role model.

Timmy - Mrs. McVey recognized Timmy for positive behavior. Timmy has made a great effort to try his best in reading and writing.

Sofia - Mrs. Lien recognized Sofia for positive behavior. Sophia has been very kind and helpful to a injured classmate. She invites him to sit by her and makes sure he has all of his supplies.

Megan - Mrs. Balko recognized Megan for positive behavior. Megan is an exceptional student. She always strives to do her best in everything she does.

Ryan - Mr. Holtz recognized Ryan for positive behavior. Ryan has been doing a great job setting goals in the classroom and uses optimistic thinking to achieve them.

Rylan - Ms. McVey recognized Rylan for positive behavior. Rylan is a responsible member of our school family. He volunteered to wash the tables in the lunch room. This was very helpful to Mr. Kohls

Leo - Mrs. McVey recognized Leo for positive behavior. Leo is a hard working and compassionate friend. He spent a lot of his own time helping other students find the correct program and get logged into their accounts. He is always helpful to others.

Trey & Abigail - Mrs. Matherne recognized Trey and Abigail for positive behavior. They both work hard to show kindness every day. If a classmate needs help, they are the first students to offer help.

Adrian - Mrs. Goettl recognized Adrian for positive behavior. Adrian noticed the kindergarten classes returning from a field trip and stopped to hold the door for all of the students carrying their pumpkins.

Andy - Mrs. Alexander recognized Andy for positive behavior. Andy has shown a tremendous amount of kindness in class, and understands how to be empathetic towards others.

Awesome job choosing kind behavior and going above and beyond.

- Mrs. Goettl and Mr. Spaeth
