Spanish at a distance
apart but together we learn
Hola familias!
To all my dear students I want to start off by saying that I already miss all of your smiley faces! I want to reassure you all that all though we may not be physically present we are all still connected! This is all very new for us all and we will perceiver together. Students, parents, and teachers alike will be learning this new, but temporary, way of schooling. Let's all take a step back, take a deep breath and allow a plentiful of grace through this transition. Know that I am praying for all of you as you adapt to this new way of learning.
Spanish distance learning will be provided through a website called IXL. Students that are in grades 5-8 will receive an email soon with their login information (username and password) for this website. Parents of grades 1-4 keep a lookout in your email with your child's log in information to the IXL website. I will use this newsletter to post weekly assignments. Students you will have all week to work at your own pace to finish what you are assigned. Even though this new pace for Spanish will be lighter than it has been this year, be diligent in logging in to practice your Spanish so you don't lose what you have learned. Below you will find the link to the website with instructions on how to log in.
