BTES Updates
June 8, 2020
Hope everyone is safe and doing well. I just wanted to say thanks to all the families during this challenging time for their patience and understanding. We have all been put to the test and I am sure we will come out stronger in the end. Below I have listed a few items that may be on your mind and I am hoping to keep everyone informed and up to date with relevant information. If there is something specific that you need to speak with me about, please drop me and email (dprima@btboe.org) and I will get back to you asap.
Daniel Prima
I wanted to give Mr. Waldon a huge "Shout Out" as he begins his new adventure as assistant principal of Clara B. Worth for the 2020-2021 school year. He has been an integral part of the BTES team and will be missed by the students, families, and staff. We all wish him good luck in his new adventure.
We are all excited for the arrival of Mr. Conforti from Bayville School and will be looking to introduce him formally early in 2020-2021 school year as the new assistant principal of BTES.

6th Grade Moving Up Pre-Recorded Virtual Ceremony - Tuesday, June 16
We are currently working on our sixth grade moving up virtual ceremony. We are creating a presentation that acknowleges our students hard work along with recognizing each and every child. The presentation will be comprised of selected speakers, student acknowledgements, and a spectacular year in review video that will highlight all the wonderful events in 2019 - 2020. We are expecting that this virtual ceremony will be shared with all families on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
6th Grade Farewell - Wednesday, June 17
We are looking for ways to appropriately and safely say goodbye to our sixth grade students. To that end, we would like to invite all families in sixth grade to participate in our "6th Grade Farewell" on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:00 p.m - rain or shine. We are still in the process of finalizing these details and will share all the necessary information shortly. We have some interesting ideas and we cannot wait to share them with you.
