FOR EXAMPLE...
Blue Shark
One of the fastest species of sharks. They are abundant and therefor caught too often for finning.
Great White
Second most dangerous shark to humans-they confuse us for seals. They are threatened and very volnerable to becoming endangered.
Whale Shark
They're the largest fish in the sea, growing up to 40 feet. They are also endangered.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
IT"S EASY!
There are plenty of organizations and clubs out there that are all about saving the sharks. You can join one, or more of them, simply by added your email to their website and spreading the word. Groups like Project Aware and Sea Shepard are out there to spread the word and try to stop people from killing sharks. Some organizations like Defenders actually allow you to "adopt" a shark in an effort to hopefully keep an eye on them and keep them in the ocean.
