Reading In Action
After reading with your child, ask him..."What is the story mostly about?".
Literacy Workstations
Writers Workshop
As Writers we can write letters to persuade others.
Reading Workshop
We can think about what the characters might say in the story.
Shared Reading
We can state details in the non-fiction stories we read.
Math Workshop
We can find the missing addend to create a sum of ten.
Science
As Botanists, we can state what plants need to survive.
Field Day: Friday, May 25th
PK through fifth grade 9:00 AM TO 2:00 PM
If you would like to help this year, email Coach Geurkink at tgeurkin@lexrich5.org for your preferred time to help out. We need morning volunteers from 8:45 AM to 11:30 AM and afternoon volunteers from 11:15 AM to 2:00 PM.
Family Fun
We welcome all of our kindergarten friends and families to send in pictures of family fun. We will have your child share his/her pictures with our classmates on the SmartBoard. Sometimes, we might include the pictures in our weekly Smore newsletter.
