Loveland Elementary School eNewsletter October 7, 2022

We've got spirit, yes we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you? It has been a really fun Homecoming Spirit Week here at LES! We've seen super heroes, PJs, wacky wackiness, jerseys and, of course, Tiger Spirit!!! Thanks to everyone who played along!

We had our first ever Dance-a-Thon today!!! Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers from the LEPTA who made this event possible for our students! Although it was a little cold, the dancing warmed us up, and we had a ton of fun!!

Our compassion project for October is "Socktober" -- we will be collecting new socks to donate to homeless shelters in the Cincinnati area.

Just a reminder that there will be no school for students next Friday, Oct. 14th and the following Monday, Oct. 17th. Hope you have a wonderful weekend -- time to break out the sweatshirts!

The results also help teachers design instruction to meet the needs of students at every learning level. You can access your student’s MAP results in the e-backpack, at TigerParent.me. If you have questions about MAP testing or need assistance accessing your student’s results, please contact your building principal.

LES Compassion Project - October

Our October Compassion Project will be Socktober! Did you know that there are 600,000 people living on the streets of the US? Did you know that socks are the number 1 requested item for Homeless Shelters? As a school, we would like to set a goal of collecting 2,500 pairs of NEW socks to donate to local homeless shelters. The sock drive will run from October 1- October 31, and any socks donated can be given to your child's teacher. Socks can be easily donated by clicking the Amazon link: Socktober Amazon Donation link. Such a small act of kindness can really make a BIG difference!!
