All Saints Outreach News
February
This month we open our hearts and minds to the Lenten rituals of prayer, fasting, and alms giving. Speaking of giving, our food program has been blessed by several large donations from school and parish families. These donations, in part, will go towards supporting the new homeless shelter being piloted by the City of Puyallup (managed by Catholic Community Services). All Saints Food Bank was invited to provide food boxes to the 20 individuals and couples in this pilot program twice a month. If you are looking for ways to serve this Lent, opportunities abound from sandwich making to bringing communion to the homebound. We also invite you and your family to participate in CRS Rice Bowl. This month we also remember and advocate for the victims of human trafficking. St. Josephine, pray for us!

Sandwich Maker Teams Needed
Sister Myrna’s Manna Ministry is looking for two new teams. Teams are responsible for making sandwiches once a month for New Hope, our local resource center for people experiencing homelessness.Teams make 80-100 sandwiches, provide bags of chips, dessert, water or juice, and fruit. Before COVID, teams would meet at someone’s house or the parish kitchen to make the sandwiches. Due to our current safety protocols, everyone makes their portion of the meal at home. The team leader collects all the items and drops them off at New Hope on the assigned day. Teams decide on the day and time they meet.
Team One – April-November, 4th Wednesdays
Team Two – June-August, 3rd Wednesdays

We received the following thank you note from a family we helped recently.
"Thank you and your church for helping my daughter. You kept her from being homeless. I pray God will help you and others who helped. This will give her some time to work on getting help."
