Counselors for Outlying ACC Students,
Before this shut down, some of the ACC teachers were using Google Classroom and had set up your students with a UTHS email. For those students, they should be able to access e-learning activities or lessons posted by their ACC teacher.
Other ACC teachers either were not using Google Classroom or had used it before lab work began and students were not current in terms of email and passwords. They will most likely not have access. Our option for those students is to have their ACC teacher provide any activities or lessons to you as a contact by email, for you to distribute to your students. Please let me know if that is unworkable or you have a different idea.
The ACC teachers are working through this new process, just as your teachers are doing the same, with some obviously being able to move forward faster than others. Next week, as we enter the first full week of this project, our paraprofessionals will be trying to contact your students, to assist them specifically with things from the ACC instructors, as best they can remotely.
