As you know, one of our school counselors Ms. Carue Davis passed away a few weeks ago. In addition, due to our growth we were recently allocated an additional counseling position. This means that we are seeking two school counselors at this time. While we work through filling these positions, we wanted to make sure our students and parents know who to reach out to if they are in need of guidance services.

Spotlight - Introduction to Homeland Security
Before Thanksgiving, our Dual Enrollment Introduction to Homeland Security course taught by Col. Howell and Mr. Reeder recently hosted the Mayor of Palm Coast, David Alfin, in their classroom. The class presented their fall project, a mock winter freeze scenario, which included preparation before and mitigation after the storm. The mayor was kind enough to give his feedback for the students and their teachers.
Tutoring Schedule
Every Tuesday and Thursday after school MHS offers tutoring from certified teachers in Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies. We also facilitate test make ups and retakes both days. Tutoring is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45PM to 4:20PM and includes bus transportation for students residing in the MHS attendance zone.
The last tutoring session before winter break will be Thursday, December 15th. Tutoring will not be offered on December 20th or 22nd.

Flagler Schools is hosting a job fair for instructional and non-instructional positions on December 3rd, 2022 at the Flagler Government Services Building from 9AM to 12PM, including on-site interviewing and hiring. See the attached flier for more information and pre-registration info.
