Have Alone Time

Take time for quite. Be still. Be reflective.

Listen to inner wisdom. Cultivate inner peace.

Get to know you.

Did you know?

Long days of school and activities, homework, keeping your room clean, family activities, squeezing in times with friends, and so on...PHEW!


Sometimes, all of that noise and running around can cause us to feel overwhelmed. Having alone time can help us recharge and regroup and gives us an opportunity to get to know ourselves better.


Why would you want to do that? Because you are AMAZING! The more you know you, the better you'll be ables to go togo out into the world with a positive, powerful attitude.


Choose one of the following...

Finding Alone Time

Outside: Go for a walk, sit quietly or read under a tree, or sit by a body of water.


Inside: Head to your room or your favorite spot for 10-20 mins. Shut off all technology. Just be with yourself.


Make note how you felt in your journal. Journal for 10 mins.

Meditate

There are many way to quite and rest your mind, or meditate. Focus on an object, idea, breath, or your affirmation.


Try to do this for 10-15 mins. Answer the following questions in your journal...


1. How was your meditation experience?

2. What do you think are the benefits of meditation?

Get to Know You.

In your journal, answering the following questions...


1. Who am I?

2. What do I enjoy doing?

3. What do I love?

4. What is important to me?

5. What adults do I admire most and why?

6. Where do I see myself in 10 years?

7. What do I hope to do when I'm older?

8. What makes me unique?
