Dental Program
If you have any NC Smile Dental forms to turn in, please do so before September 15th. You can either turn in the paper form or you register online at www.myschooldentist.com. Please do not turn in form if you do not want dental care for your child at school.
Attendance Awareness Month
September is Attendance Awareness Month and we are celebrating with two school spirit days. Please see the attached flyers for more details.
COVID Update
We are seeing an increase in COVID cases at school. Please do your part to help keep our numbers from rapidly increasing. If your child is experiencing symptoms please keep them home from school and take a test. We have rapid tests available at school if needed. If your child tests positive, please notify the teacher and/or the front office staff and send a photo of the positive test. Please quarantine for five days after the start of symptoms and wear a mask for an additional five days. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

A Message From the PTA
Your Input Needed: Fall Festival
Our PTA activities committee is hard at work planning fall festival on October 21st from 1 pm to 4 pm at Easley. As we are in the planning process, we want to hear from you. Please take a few moments to fill out this survey and let us know if you are attending and are interested in volunteering. Thank you for helping us make this our best fall festival yet! We can’t wait.
Easley Night Out: Broken Spoken Farm – September 15-17
Our next Easley Night Out is scheduled for Friday, 9/15 to Sunday, 9/17 at Broken Spoke Farm located at 5601 St. Mary's Rd in Hillsborough. 5% of all sales will be donated to the school. The farm stand is open from 12-8pm every day, with organically-grown produce and homemade soft-serve ice cream (Friday through Sunday only for ice cream). You can find the weekend’s flavors on the Broken Spoke Farm’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
Next PTA meeting: September 18th
Please make plans to join us for our next PTA meeting on September 18th at 6:30 pm in Easley’s media center or via zoom. More information will be coming next week and an agenda will be emailed ahead of the meeting to PTA members.
Crayons2Calculators:
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to support Crayons2Calculators, a non-profit that provides free supplies to teachers. Our teachers will order supplies online and volunteers will shop the orders and deliver them to Easley. Some of our shopping dates for Easley volunteers have been adjusted slightly from last week’s message to 9/12, 11/9, 1/23 and 3/14. You can sign up for a few of the remaining spots here.
