GCISD Determining Community Interest In Tuition-Based Pre-K
In an effort to continually serve the families of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, the district is investigating the feasibility of a tuition-based Pre-K program, beginning in the Fall of 2016. Those families who have a child who will be four-years old, on or before September 1, 2016, may participate in the program, depending on community interest.
As with any of the district’s special programs, families must enter into a lottery to be selected. If there is enough interest in the tuition-based program, then the lottery will be held for spots at pre-determined campuses. The proposed site locations are Bear Creek Elementary, Bransford Elementary, Colleyville Elementary and OC Taylor Elementary. These campuses were selected based on current and projected student enrollment and building capacity.
Families who are interested in learning more about the tuition-based Pre-K program are invited to attend the GCISD Special Programs Expo on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at Cross Timbers Middle School at 6 p.m. At the Expo, district representatives will be available to answer questions about the proposed program. If you would like more information about the proposed tuition-based Pre-K program, click here.

PTA Fundraising Opportunity:
Parents and friends of Colleyville Elementary, please help PTA fundraise by answering surveys on Centiment. We are hosting a fundraiser on a new mobile friendly website called Centiment. Centiment enables our fundraising participants to utilize a smart phone, tablet, or PC to answer surveys from everyday brands that want feedback, such as Coke or Ford Motors. Your responses to these surveys are reported back on an anonymous basis, your personal information (name, email, etc) are never shared with the brands researching. For every survey you answer, Colleyville Elementary receives a payment. You can directly access our fundraiser through the link below or by going to centiment.co, signing up, and selecting Colleyville Elementary.

MORE DETAIL...
HELP US SPREAD THE WORD
We need your help in getting the word out. Once you log in, please use the 'Invite Supporters' function in the menu bar to text a link to the fundraiser to friends and family or post a link on Facebook with a message. Anyone who enters through one of these links becomes your 'supporter' and adds to your total contributions on the Rankings page.
WIN CASH PRIZES
While the primary goal is to raise money for the school, you can also win a cash prize for yourself. 30 days into the fundraiser, the top 3 ranked people will receive cash prizes.
BE PERSISTENT
When you first begin answering surveys you may become disqualified often. This is because Centiment does not have any information about you in order to send you the most appropriate surveys. As you attempt more surveys, your privacy protected profile is built out and you will begin to qualify for more surveys.
Thank you - your participation is greatly appreciated!
