2021/2022 School Year Off to a Strong Start!
Thank you to our New Family Welcoming person (Katie Morris), Meet and Treat coordinator (Heather Graf), Room Parent lead (Abby Markham) Spirit Wear Team (Heidi Coppersmith & Andrea O'Shea) and also our Picture Day leader (Cecilia Horejs) for helping to get this year's activities off to a great start!
Spirit Wear: If you ordered during the Fall Sale, items will come home with your student(s) the week of September 27th. If you missed this round, look for details about the Holiday Sale, which will open in November and have items delivered by mid-December.
Make-Up Picture Day: If your child was absent on the original picture day, retake day is scheduled for October 5th. If you haven't placed an order yet and still would like to - go to ordercp.com with school code: 10018601 and click on the "after picture day" option.

The Tradition Continues - Madison Fun Run Fundraiser to Take Place on Sept. 23!
The Madison Fun Run is our school’s biggest fundraiser. This year, we are hoping to raise $20,000 for PTA-funded programs throughout the year like Madison clubs, class parties, and Explore More Days in addition to expanding support for initiatives in the areas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) support. Please be assured that we will also be following our school safety guidelines to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone.
Registration is now open on MYBOOSTER.COM. Here's what you need to know:
We’ve partnered with a company called Booster to help us make our fundraiser profitable, fun, and successful
During the course of the next month, students and families will work together to secure donations for every lap our students run (35 cap) on the Madison Fun Run Day on Sept. 23
There is no pressure to give, but we invite you to help our school by getting donations from family and friends and entering them on MYBOOSTER.COM
You can learn more about how Booster will be helping us launch the event by watching a short video here
The focus this year is on working together as a school to fundraise with less emphasis on individual prizes and winning. We are #MadisonStrong!
We completely understand if your family is not in a position to financially support Madison right now. You can still be involved by simply SHARING about our fundraiser with friends and extended family online. All Madison students will participate in the Madison Fun Run, regardless of financial participation.
Here are some key dates to remember:
Registration Open as of Aug. 31 (Register on MYBOOSTER.COM)
- Donating Starts - Sept. 7
Fundraiser Kick-Off - Sept. 14
Event Day - Sept. 23
Thanks so much for your support! Stay tuned for more information as we get a little bit closer. In the meantime, direct questions to Sarah Tobeck.
Volunteer Opportunities: Now Open
Looking to give your time, ideas and talents? Check out the Sign-Up Genius page for all current needs.
Specifically we're looking for help with:
- Art Appreciation: Nine in ten Americans believe it is important for K-12 students to receive an education in the arts. If you are part of the 90%, please consider volunteering for Art Appreciation. It is a terrific way to help in your son's or daughter's classroom once a month for about 20-30 minutes. Consider finding a partner and responsibilities can be shared. A schedule and materials will be provided for you. Please contact Abby Richardson via email at artappreciation@madisonschoolpta.org if you have any questions.
- Explore More Day Coordinators
Thank you to ALL of our volunteers who are committing time and resources to PTA!
