NEW Tardy Policy
It is important for your child to be on time to class. Students miss out on vital information and instruction when they arrive tardy to class. Starting this week, students tardy to class 3 or more times in a week will be assigned lunch detention.
Please impress upon your student the importance of arriving to class on time.
Parent Engagement Night
Learn about the important digital tools you and your student will use in our District!
There are two dates and locations for our Parent Access Night: Grossmont High School on August 30 and Monte Vista High School on September 7. Dinner will be provided, and childcare will be available onsite. See flyer for more.
Senior College & Career Night
Senior Students and Parents, mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 31st! We will be hosting a College and Career Night to provide you with information to help plan your next steps. We will hold a main session in the Valhalla Theater starting at 6pm that will cover postsecondary planning and essential senior year info. Families will then have the opportunity to attend several different breakout sessions led by counselors and college reps.
Breakout sessions will cover topics such as four-year college applications, financial aid and scholarships, community college opportunities, military options, and career resources.
Both students and parents are encouraged to attend!
