Friday Happiness

The fantastic 6th band students have now mastered Hot Cross Buns and are rapidly moving on to Mary Had a Little Lamb and Jingle Bells. If your student has not purchased their band book, they must get that done as soon as possible so we can move forward. Please contact Mrs. Peterson if help is needed. We are on page 9 of the book, and doing a fantastic job!

Students in Mrs. Kaufman's 6th grade math classes are learning how to attack word problems by learning a strategy called The 3 Reads. Their task was to build a garden for their class. It had many perimeters to follow, but they got to show their creativity while learning how to read for details to solve word problems.
