Switching Student Instructional Models for Third Quarter

On Tuesday, January 19th, we will send a Parent Square survey asking if your child will be returning for Third Quarter, which begins on February 1st. If your child is continuing to make adequate progress, it is your choice if you want your child to switch to Face to Face, as Home Connect will still be offered in Third Quarter. The survey only needs to be submitted if your child is returning to Face to Face.

Carline Information

Thank you to everyone for your patience and attention to safety in the carlines. As we continue to have more students transition from Home Connect to Face to Face, the carline must make adjustments. Having your child all packed up, mask on and ready to go will help us move the line more quickly.

For morning car line, please do not line up by the middle school until the green gate has been completely closed. This will help ensure that all middle school families can enter car line until 7:40 when the gates are closed.

Finally, please be sure to utilize the back carline in the morning, as the front of the building is for bus drop off. Only walkers and bus riders should be entering in the front. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mind Up

This week our focus is Lesson 9: Mindful Movement. For more details, view the sample lesson.

Health and Safety Reminders

The health and safety of our students and staff is our main priority. As we approach Third Quarter, please review with your child the school requirement to wear their mask throughout the day, with the exception of recess, PE, and lunch.

Additionally, all birthday/holiday snacks must be store bought and individually wrapped. Some examples include cookies/chips in individual bags, (Goldfish, Pringles, OREOS, Chips Ahoy, etc.) Hostess/Entenmann's treats. Many places like Publix and Dunkin Donuts will individualize treats like cupcakes/donuts with pre-orders.

Thank you for all you do to help our students stay healthy and in school.

Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Friday, January 29th.
