Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and mother figures who love and support our students.

Thank you for the love and generosity you showed us last week during Teacher Appreciation Week.

This week our students in grades 3-5 will begin the WV General Summative Assessment. Students in grade 5 will begin Monday with the science assessment. Wednesday, grades 3-5 students will complete the math assessment, Thursday is writing and Friday is reading. Remember to get your child to school on time, have them eat a healthy breakfast and get a restful night's sleep

Tuesday is Election Day and our school will be a polling place. There will be no school that day.

Mark your calendar for May 24th. We are so excited to be able to host our Focus on the Arts and Garden Night that evening. The doors open at 5pm for garden presentations, fun art and garden stations, garden tours and an art gallery walk. At 7pm our choir and orchestra students will entertain us with a concert in the gym. Our silent auction for classroom painting will occur that evening as well. All proceeds benefit our outdoor classroom and garden based learning. Mrs. Young needs assistance with hanging the artwork.
