OUR WILSON CAVALIER STAFF ARE ROCK STARS!


On March 14th– March 18th is School Classified Staff Week. Student’s lives are touched daily by classified staff at our school, starting with bus drivers in the morning, cooks, secretaries, translators, custodians, security, guidance specialist and para-educators. These staff members are highly regarded and Wilson is proud to have the best in the district. Happy Classified Staff Week!

SPRING BREAK WILL BE APRIL 4TH-APRIL 8TH, CLASSES WILL RESUME MONDAY, APRIL 11TH.

Spring Sports Registration

Spring sports registration will be open on March 7th on FamilyID.com. Track, Girls Soccer and Baseball will be available for all grade levels to register for. A current sports physical is needed to participate.

HOMEWORK CENTER

Meets after school Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:30 PM. We provide students with a snack, have tutors available, and any other supplies they need like paper, pencils, markers, rulers, and calculators. We keep attendance when students arrive and when they leave. Please call Mrs. Madrinich at 573-2422 for more information or if you want to check if your children are attending regularly.

The McKinney-Vento Act: The Basics


If you lost your housing and now live in a shelter, motel, vehicle, camping ground, or temporary trailer; on the street; doubled-up with family or friends; or in another type of temporary or inadequate housing, your child might be able to receive help through a federal law called the McKinney-Vento Act.
