Weekly Community Updates - March 31, 2023
Dear Students and Families,
I hope students had fun in their interim this week. I feel fortunate that I was able to jump into a few on campus interims. I saw students preparing to go fishing, murals being painted around campus, jewelry making and more!
After this week of interim, students will be taking a well-deserved week off from school. We come back to school April 10th. When we return from spring break, we only have seven weeks left of the school year. The school year is going by so fast!
We hope students have a nice spring break and we look forward to seeing them for the last stretch of the school year.
Take care,
Maritza Torres

Returning Student Reminder
Parents: please be sure to register for the upcoming 23-24 school year. Access through your Parentvue account. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Galea, OHS Registrar. cgalea@jeffersonunion.net
Ramadan
As some students will observe Ramadan, March 23-April 21, it’s important for us, as a school, to be mindful of religious practices that may take place during this time, including fasting and designated times of prayer. If your student needs additional support during this time, please contact the office, as the staff is here to help.
The JUHSD Food Services Department, upon request, will provide take-home lunches for students needing to eat at a later time in the day, along with signage messaging this, at each of the cafeteria registers.
As always, please reach out to OHS Principal Martiza Torres, (650) 550-7301 with any questions or concerns you may have.
