Classroom Teaching Assigments

Parents can login to Home Access Center on Thursday, August 5th to learn who their child or children have been assigned to for the 2021-2022 school year!

Welcome Back Day! Monday, August 9th 4:00-6:00 PM

Wild Rose School and the Wild Rose PTO will be hosting a welcome back day on Monday, August 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

This event allows students and parents to meet teachers, drop off school supplies, visit classrooms, set up desks, and see friends, neighbors and get involved in the school community.

At this time we are only allowing students into the building. Parents and families will be able to be on the back playground to learn of Wild Rose Events from the PTO.

There will be a sign-up genius sent out on Thursday, August 5th once teacher assignments are released. Students will sign up for a designated time to visit their classroom and drop off their supplies.

This is always one of my favorite days of the year. It is great to see the excitement on our students' faces as they enter the building for the first time after a long summer. This year it will be even more critical, as we welcome back our students who learned in a remote environment last school year.

A sign-up

I will communicate additional information as the date approaches.

Elementary Instructional Day

Although we continue to review guidance from the state with regards to health and safety measures for the fall, all of our planning has focused on students returning for a full day of instruction. That means we will implement the 8:00 am-3:00 pm instructional day that we intended to implement at the start of the 2020-2021 school year.

This seven hour school day provides our students with increased learning and access to the fine arts, while also increasing enrichment opportunities. Our students will experience a total of 400 minutes (Ten 40-minute specials per week) a week in 'specials', (PE, Art, Music, and Empower. The breakdown for all K-5 students is shared below. Half day Kindergarten will receive 200 minutes of specials at their respective D303 school. Half-day is not at Wild Rose Elementary.

  • Physical Education: Four sections per week for a total of 160 minutes.

  • Art: Two sections per week for a total of 80 minutes.

  • Music: Two sections per week for a total of 80 minutes.

  • Empower: Two sections per week for a total of 80 minutes

Empower is a new course offering for all elementary students. This course is designed to provide students with innovative learning experiences where they will build critical competencies such as problem solving, creativity, collaboration, flexibility, and critical thinking.

Student Registration and School Payment Fees

If you have not already registered your returning student please do so as soon as possible.
At this time the District deadline for registration submission has passed. We continue to register new and returning students daily and without your child's completed registration we cannot continue to reserve seating in any particular District 303 building for your child.

If you choose to register at a later date, and if the grade level at your current school is at capacity, the District will welcome your child to a building where space is available.

As of July 1st all registration fees have been billed in Pushcoin. Pushcoin is now open for payment of registration fees and the early bird discount expires end of day July 31, 2021. Login today for the early bird discount!
