What's Happening at DATA

This past week the campus held our annual Greenback Night/Rider Readiness night. Thank you all who had the opportunity to come out and meet with teachers, attend the PTSA meeting, and hear about the GT program as well as information pertinent to students. I hope you also had an opportunity to stop by Taco Cabana and eat a bite to help support the PTSA.

We had planned on meeting with our 9th grade students this week during Rough Rider Readiness but our meeting in the auditorium did not happen because Jostens switched their time for the Junior Ring presentation to the same time. We will be rescheduling the 9th grade meeting to address some of the trends we are seeing with our 9th grade students. More to come when we have a date. The TR Admin team is also working on and will be scheduling discipline assemblies with all grade levels within the next few weeks.

October 13th is the end of the grading period. Now is a great opportunity to check grades in Skyward. The newness of the school year has worn off and students are starting to feel the intensity of taking advanced academic classes. If you or your student have any concerns about their progress in class, please reach out to their teacher to discuss your student's progress.

Save the date for Directors Donuts on October 25th at 10:00. This is a great informal opportunity for our us to come together as a community to talk about our program and to get feedback from you as a parent.

Have a great week and until next time!
